Vineeta Muni is a product of the Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi and has undertaken seventeen ventures into the Himalaya in the past nineteen years. She has scaled several peaks in the Himalaya. She is a skilled photographer, specialising in outdoor photography. 

She is one of the first women in the world to have walked across the length of the Himalaya from Arunachal Pradesh in the East to the Karakorams (Jammu and Kashmir) in the West. In 1997, she trekked a distance of 4500 kms approx. in 198 days, crossing 39 passes of an altitude of over 3000 metres. This has given her an opportunity to experience, see and photograph the varied Himalayan terrain, culture and heritage of Arunachal Pradesh, Bhutan, Sikkim, Nepal, Garhwal, Kumaon, Kinnaur, Spiti, Ladakh and Eastern Karakorams. 

With her vast experience in climbing and trekking under her belt, travelling with Vineeta will certainly give you an opportunity to understand unique characteristics of Himalayas and Kailash.
